Welcome to the blog

I have to say that I completely believe in bribes for portraits, though I would consider them optional and never insist on them.  Meet Ariel, she did well by us at this session.  I have also seen hamburgers, the promise of ice cream, marshmallows, Hot Wheels, Transformers and Sweet Tarts (I always try to carry these- but as everyone knows I have a sweet tooth and they don’t last long),

I love working with the G- family, I think they could have five kiddos and make it look easy.  I do have some sweet shots of the kids together, but I LOVE C’s expression when his sissy kissed his head here.  Dad set up the last shot, he’s ready to pay his fee!

I’m sharing a lot here to show that you do get more than just a few good images.    The other day a client told me she was so surprised by how many proofs she ended up with to choose from.  Seems she was used to 10 with another photographer and I had over 30 in her gallery.

Our good outdoor session weather is coming to an end, ring me up and schedule yours!

C-is just a riot.  He took off on that tractor like he had been driving that thing forever.  It’s so funny to hear all of these words he’s saying when the last time I saw him he was this sweet little baby with great big eyes.  Thanks so much for allowing me to capture your family,  J&M!

I scope Etsy for baby props , but have found some cute things for mommy as well.  Thought I would share.  Taking a few minutes from editing this evening.

Brass Horseshoe Locket – purchase one this year and I’ll print you a tiny image from your session, I am printing one for my own.

Vintage Rag Wreath – I’m contemplating putting a nail in my front door for this one (Chris would get distraught, so I’m not sure where this would go quite yet).  Maybe he wouldn’t notice the hole until after the New Year when it came down?

Brown Shawl – You could wear this a ton of ways, it would jazz up about anything..cute!

Oreo Cookie Soap – As if I don’t think about chocolate enough, I need to have this in the bath.  Ha!
