I present to you Jillian & Jason’s engagement photos! I am incredibly excited to photograph Jillian and Jason’s wedding next month in the city and the New Life Event Space.  It is going to be so much fun to document the day of this wonderful couple.  Eeeks!  They enjoy being in the city together, so they wanted their engagement session to reflect that.  I think we were successful!

She even did a little dancing.  In heels.  I was impressed, I can’t even walk in heels. It makes me think of Elaine in Seinfeld in the episode about grace.  “Not many people have grace. You can’t acquire grace”.  This is certainly true, 8 years of dance lessons down the drain. I digress.

What a cool couple, they made my job so easy! Jillian is a professional dancer and she and Jason is in ministry publications.  The are just so much fun to be around.  They make a fantastic couple and this will be a fabulous wedding!  His father is officiating.  The venue is urban and industrial.  The details sound fantastic.

We took their engagement portraits at the RiverMarket.  It is a beautiful and colorful place. I love to photography there, I feel like I am in the city, but there is less hustle and bustle.  I am a suburban girl, lol. Jillian can wear anything and look fabulous, but I loved her clothing choices and shoes.  Aren’t they just stunning together?  We had a lot of fun incorporating the farmer’s market.   The light was yummy and the weather was perfect.  We shot until there was no light left.

They are so cute together, I can’t even stand it.  They just adore each other.  They really have a love story for the books.

So excited for the wedding…until then.

See their wedding day here.

Loose Park is a gorgeous place for a family session.   75 acres of beautiful trees, flowers and bridges.

I strive to make sessions like a fun playmate for the family.  I love to see everyone get dressed up, have fun and then grab dinner and make it a date.  The kids LOVE it.  They feel special (because they are) and it’s good quality time.  Thanks so much for seeing me while you were in town from TX!  Prints coming your way!

Max had the same little cherub face at his newborn session.  I am absolutely giddy when I get to see these kiddos come back at their first year.  I don’t think I have ever seen someone so small SO steady on their tiny little feet.  I think he walked a mile that morning.  SO wonderful to see the H- family!

Black and white is always timeless.   I show every image in color and black and white.  Some images are just MEANT to be that way and I leave it up to you to decide.  This was such a lovely session and I just shot a second session for their extended family last weekend.  Thanks so much for choosing the studio!
