Kansas City Wedding Photography

Kayla and Wesley.  When Kayla sat at her consult with me in the studio and told me they were holding their ceremony at the Simpson House in Kansas City, I was more than a little giddy.  It is a huge, turn-of-the-century mansion.  It is just really classic and lovely.   I had the pleasure and the honor of documenting their love in front of the camera last October.

Wesley all spiffed up.

So many cute details!

The Simpson House.

Ivory florals, so classic.

How sweet of an idea, for all the guests to sit together!

This dress.  I have no words.  The vintage cut, the beading.  When I saw it on the hanger in the girl’s dressing room, I was inspired to put it on.  Of
course, I didn’t.  🙂

Seriously, you would want to try it on, too!

Gorgeous day, not a cloud in the sky.

Zipping up.

Kayla was absolutely stunning.  Everyone said she reminded them of Kate Winslet.

Showtime.

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Maag!

 Kayla restyles.

You can just tell Wesley’s sister and Kayla are great friends already.

I need this for my dining room.  (love)

The food…amazing.

I have to find out who this band was.  This girl could sing her socks off.  Her “King of The Road” gave me goosebumps.

Because it would be a shame to misplace your mason jar of imported beer. 🙂

Photobooth fun.

A little toast.

Have iPod, will boogy.

I have photographed both of these adorable kiddos as newborns and it was so great to see them in the studio again!
