This was my first year photographing for the Missouri Heart Gallery. What an AMAZING experience. I wasn’t prepared to want to fill my Honda Element with children to bring home, but they were incredible kids. Take a look at the gallery and see if you could open your hearts and home to one of these incredible kids.

2009 Missouri Heart Gallery
April 20, 2009In January, I had the pleasure of working with the Children’s Division of Missouri Social Services to provide images for their Heart Gallery. I met over 20 amazing little ones and wish I could have spent for than 5-10 minutes with each one. We shot in below freezing temps and inside a dark museum, but they were all smiles.
You may view this gallery of 300 children waiting for adoptive resource families (53 of which were provided by local photographers) at the Atrium in Crown Center, May 1st through May 17th. It will also be displayed at Bass Pro in Independence from May 22nd through May 26th.
More models
March 4, 2009I just think that my clients have the CUTEST children. Day two of the NILMDTS Model Contest shoot was a blast! The kids got to walk on the REAL models runway in the studio. They did great! I’ll have the rest of the images posted in galleries soon!

Baby Baby Baby
January 26, 2009What pretty eyes. You think they are brown, but they have a ton of green in them. What a complete doll!

Swing for a cure!
September 23, 2007Golf, anyone? There is an event October 1st for a cause that is near and dear to my heart and to many. Robert Unverferth has started this foundation to benefit the Goppert Center for Breast Care at St. Luke’s South, in honor of his mother, who is currently fighting breast cancer. See details at: http://www.swingforeacurekc.org/.
There will be fabulous food, coffee, wine, beer and entertainment. And, of course, golf. Captures in Time Photography is a proud sponser, I am featuring a gift certificate for a full family session and 16×20 in the silent auction.
