Elsa

August 18, 2010

Elsa, mom and I went on a little road trip.  We figured out that the town of Napoleon is really tiny.  Elsa toddled around the buildings in her cute patent shoes.  She is such a doll.  Happy 2nd Birthday!

Mr. Noah

August 16, 2010

This little guy is a topic of conversation at our house on a regular basis.  He and my son Nicholas are good buddies at preschool.  Nick will be eating his cereal in the morning and a totally random “Noah” thought pops out… “I wonder what Noah is doing right now and if he is having cereal, too.”  It’s so cute.

Thanks for letting me take Noah’s 4 year portraits, guys!  You all are such a cute family!

It seems like just yesterday we were doing Parker’s newborn session.  Shortly after, dad was trying to get him to hold a football at his 3 month session.  He loved smashing that cake at his 1 year shoot.  Now he’s running around like a little man with his “big boy” haircut.  Where does the time go?

This is a great time of year for a morning shoot at the River Market, the kids LOVE all of the sites and there is a TON of shopping.  Grab lunch at Bo-Lings and lots of fresh produce to cook with during the week.

I am lucky and blessed to have clients that hire me again and again.   It’s like getting to go to lunch with old friends.   Can I just tell you how amazing this little sweetie is?   She is a happy, friendly, smart, smart, smart little cookie.

Dad said to me, “I don’t know how, but you will pull some wonderful images out of chaos like you always do.”  That’s so, so nice to hear.   With toddlers, we just let them do their thing.  Anything that FEELS too out of the norm for them and constrictive doesn’t give us good results.  We hang out, we dress up, we play, we act silly.  Then you get that “genuine” expression those big eyes that just “make” an image.
