This little one was such a joy to work with.  Mom lulled her into sleepdome and we got some pretty serene shots.  I have wanted to get the “baby on the shelf” shot for a while now.  I was so excited!  I’ll have the rest for you all soon.

I have lots of parents lately that would prefer not to bring a newborn out for portraits.  With my portable studio, I come to you.  You don’t have to do a thing but let me in and help keep baby content.

E- was so much fun to work with.  I see some Jennifer Aniston in these.  There were a lot of painted people on bicycles in the River Market Sunday.  If you look hard, you can see them on the distance in the bridge shot.   E’s father is a very talented photographer, I really like his work.  It was great to meet you all!

In January, I had the pleasure of working with the Children’s Division of Missouri Social Services to provide images for their Heart Gallery.  I met over 20 amazing little ones and wish I could have spent for than 5-10 minutes with each one.    We shot in below freezing temps and inside a dark museum, but they were all smiles.

You may view this gallery of 300 children waiting for adoptive resource families (53 of which were provided by local photographers) at the Atrium in Crown Center, May 1st through May 17th.  It will also be displayed at Bass Pro in Independence from May 22nd through May 26th.

Scheduling

UPDATE!  Weekends are booking up fast!  I only have one weedend appointment left in May.  I do have weekdays open each week in May, which are great for newborns.

We finally have good weather here in KC.  Love to get families out downtown and see what the kids get interested in-bugs, cool cars, big buildings, the imaginary ladybug who lands on my camera.  Their curious expressions are fun to capture. This little gal does NOT believe that cartoons play in my lens, she hardly gave it a glance.   Smart cookie!
