Five Year Old Twins

Boy and Girl Twin Session

I love watching the children grow that I photograph over the years. These twins are so great big now and they look so much alike but different at the same time!

It seems like just yesterday they had both come home from the NICU and we did their newborn photo session at the house. I set up my studio in the living room. Grandma and grandpa were staying at the house to help out so their newborn session was a family affair, for sure. I do remember that some baby piddles and messes were such a surprise for dad!

Love of Damask

I really am enjoying my damask backdrops lately.  I think I have them in pink, gray, black, green and ivory. My kitchen is entirely damask, which my husband calls a zebra print. No, it’s not a zebra pattern at all, silly husband person.

The word “damask” first came about in French in the middle of the 14th century. By the 14th century, damasks were fabrics that were woven in Italy on looms. From the 14th to 16th centuries, most damasks were woven in one color.

Do you have some kiddos who haven’t been professionally photographed lately? I’d love to visit with you to create the kind of session that will really bring out their personalities. See my booking page for more details!
