sisters photo session kansas city

This sisters photo session was officially the last session of the year! I need to get ready for Christmas. Three days! THREE DAYS! I have a little one-year-old boy that is going to be so excited to open presents. I have to say, he does have a lot of outfits under the three because he can’t protest yet! I can’t wait to watch him on Christmas morning. I also have a heck of a lot of wrapping to do and cookies to make for the annual Pfannenstiel cookie exchange. I think 13 dozen?

Oh wow, these little girls look just like their mama when she was a little girl. I mean the spitting images of her. I have good memories of our parents getting together when they lived in Sedalia, we would road trip out there from Kansas City. I always wanted to live in the country as a little girl! I was so glad to see Missy again and meet her precious little ones for their sister photo session in my Kansas City studio! Check out the little bunny slippers mom brought with her!

For this session, I chose simple, solid backdrops. I love being able to catch children just being themselves. Those shots often end up being everyone’s favorite. These little darlings just lit up the room. Thank you to all of my first clients from 2006! I sincerely look forward to being a part of your photographs in the coming year and beyond.
