Copyright Info | Captures in Time Photography | Jackson Co.
Just a refresher on copyright. I hold the copyright to the images I create in every format they can take on-digital, print, video, etc. “Under the Federal Copyright Act of 1976 (effective January 1, 1978 and amended when the USA joined the Berne Convention in 1989), photographs are protected by copyright from the moment of creation.” -PPA.com
What is a model release for? To allow the use of images for advertising and publication purposes.
Also, I am always surprised that not everyone knows about how web resolution is much different than the resolution needed to print images. Images on the internet are only about 70 DPI. Images for print need to be 300 DPI, so you can imagine if a person tried to print a photo from online., the quality would be very poor. Ewwww!
