I worked with Erica on the Kansas City Heart Gallery for several years, a wonderful program to provide children who are awaiting adoption with professional images.  I adore her, she is so great to work with. When Erica came to the studio for her wedding consult and told me she was having a military wedding, I was thinking, “Pick me, pick me!”   I was so glad when she did!  Erica and Parke are one of the most down earth couples I have met, they are so sweet and easy together.  This was such an amazing wedding.  I hope you can tell from the highlights that they love baseball just a little.  The little details really made this wedding feel personal.

It was a gorgeous day.  The weather was just perfection.  Barely a cloud in the sky. Lots of wonderful people and I can’t say enough good things about The Stanley in Lees Summit,  the ceremony and reception venue.   The staff is so friendly and the space is gorgeous with hardwood floors, a tin ceiling with lots of brick.  From the sweet first look before the ceremony to the cute dance mob at the reception that her family put together, the day couldn’t have been a better one.

When the officers raised their swords for Erica to walk down the eye, it was an absolutely breathtaking site.  They are just so regal and stoic.  There was more than a few people who had a tear in their eye.

Thank you so much for including me in your day, this was a wedding I don’t think anyone will forget!
