This is one of my favorite spots in Kansas City, it has the prettiest light for a child photographer.  What a nice family, children are so easy to photograph when they are enjoying themselves.  They had those dark eyes that get so reflective in just the right light.

I was reading an article the other day that discussed what the most important component of photography was and the answer was not the camera.  Not the camera?  No, it was light!  So very true.   Light is everywhere, but the key is to find the soft light coming from the right places.   Lots of studying, much practice.
