Captures in Time recently became a part of the Buy Blue Springs network.  This is a great website to find local businesses and products.

I have my own list of favorite small businesses around town:

Petals and Potpourri–  A great place to shop for gifts, floral arrangements, holiday decor, Trapp Candles (my favorite kind), home accessories, jewelry and purses.  Family owned and operated.

Memories Tea Room and Cafe- I haven’t had anything that is not yummy here.  The chicken salad with walnuts, the soups, the pies.  All yummy.  I pop in a lot after sessions since it’s just a couple of doors down.  You can also book their party room.

Tiger Lily Boutique – A little boutique on Main with lots of punch and sass in their clothing. (No longer open)

Accessorize Yourself – This one has been around for a long time and moved to 7 Hwy last year.  Lots of unique clothing and accessories that you don’t see anywhere else.

The Yellow Strawberry- Gorgeous home interior accents, wonderful children and baby gifts.  Sid Dickens art (another of my favorite things). (No longer open)

Knobs & Locks – The perfect place when you replace all of that brass hardware in your kitchen or bathroom. The variety is unbelievable!
