Family Photography Session on the Farm | Blue Springs

What a blast we had during this session! I drove out from Blue Springs to photograph a gorgeous family on a farm in KS on a brisk fall morning. These parents have come to me for photography of their two little ones since they were itty bitty babies. Instead of an urban look this time, mom chose the family farm for this session. They were staying there in one of the houses while their home in Leawood was being remodeled. From the moment I drove up, I could see her vision! Beautiful light on this gorgeous farm that sprawled for miles and miles. There were race horses everywhere. So many white, pristine buildings and barns, the cleanest and most modern barns I have ever seen. It reminded me of Southfork from the TV show “Dallas”. Never missed an episode growing up. 🙂 I’ll bet the kids have a blast there. I could have stayed all day long.

Mom and dad gave me a tour in golf carts. I wonder if I fit a golf cart in my car for sessions?
