Girl Newborn Photography Shoot Highlights
Meet Charlotte! I was so excited for this photo shoot after mom contacted me to let me know they were expecting again. It seems like just yesterday that her big brother was in the Kansas City studio for his newborn session. He had such a great newborn session with all of those rich, “boy” tones and hat. He slept like a little angel. Oh, my goodness, what a cutie his sister was, just like her brother. She was about 10 1/2 lbs of pure, newborn goodness. She had tons of dark hair and squishy adorable cheeks. I could have photographed her all…day.. long.
The Backdrops
I now have a backdrop guide in which moms and dads can choose backdrops if they wish. Parents are just loving this! Some of the backdrops Mom choose were: a gray drop for their parent series, a beige floral, creamy bokeh, and a cream flokati rug. Dad chose the pretty lavender fabric for our bean bag series, which I thought was so sweet. Charlotte just had the prettiest skin tone with that color. Contrasting colors with baby’s hair color gives some nice tone variance to the image, I love that! Most of the backdrops featured here are from Lemon Drops.
The Props
I chose some of my more roomy props to accommodate all of her chunky goodness! I used a cream wood bucket, my popular birch bed made by a carpenter in Branson and an old metal pail.
