Grain Valley Newborn Photography Session | Meet Little Olivia
I’ve Been Antiquing
I have been spending a lot of time scouring antique stores for vintage props and fabrics to use in sets. I could just spend hours and hours antiquing. Sadly, many of my favorite stores in Grain Valley and Oak Grove have closed. Let me know if you find a good one, so I can add it to my list.
The Tiny Client Olivia
Meet sweet, little, anxiously awaited Olivia! Her mom came into the studio when she was just a couple of months pregnant for a consultation for her newborn shoot. I am always available to do this, I know sometimes it is nice to meet first.
She has such tiny and delicate features. Tiny, perfect, and adorable in every single way.
The Backdrops and Props From her Session
Mom gave me a color palette to work with and I just love how this new birch bed I have goes with the gray damask backdrop. I was lucky that a photographer that I know had some made in the Ozarks and the carpenter made this one for me, so when she was in town she brought it up to me. It is one of a kind and l am in love with it!
We also used this teal armoire backdrop that I purchased recently. I found some amazing Amy Butler fabrics and made mattress covers for my other wooden bed with matching headbands on my sewing machine. I can’t even believe I now have a sewing machine. I’m getting there with it! Let’s just say I have been watching a lot of YouTube videos! Lots of trial and error.
Thank you, Kelly for bringing her in, she is just perfect! I can’t wait to see you all in the studio again!
