Kansas City Christmas Newborn Photos

Sharing some Kansas City Christmas newborn photos today. This is the second newborn I have photographed for this sweet military family and this time their session is right around Christmas. Back in 2012, Kristin and Brad came out from Leavenworth, across Kansas City and to my studio in Blue Springs for their newborn, Jax.  See Jax’s newborn session.  This one was a bit more delicate and girly!

Kristin brought in a cute little red and green striped Christmas hat that a relative had made her. Little Jillian is just precious. She looked like an adorable Christmas elf! Her skin tone was absolutely perfections!

Military Touches

I love incorporating military items into newborn sessions. I think the key, like anything else, is not to throw everything into a set up at once. Some ideas are boots, jackets, tags, hats and fatigues.
