Elle turns one! I was so excited when Gisela called and asked me to provide event photography for Elle’s first birthday party. She is just a beautiful little girl and I covered her maternity, newborn and six-month photography sessions. It was so much fun to document the celebration of this sweet little one’s first birthday with their family and friends. I just adore this family, they are the sweetest. I am always happy to photograph birthday parties for my clients. The first birthday only comes around once and this family had a gorgeous birthday party for their little girl that you could ever imagine. Mom really thought of every single detail and put her elegant touch on everything.

The Venue and Decor

The Grand Street Cafe really did a wonderful job of making this party extra special. Their ballroom has tons of natural light and is just a dream to photograph in. Elle had on a pale pink dress and I do believe that mom had this crown for her newborn session a year ago. There were gorgeous white feather centerpieces, lots of crystal and lots of balloons! The food was buffet style and just out of this world. They served a three-tier white cake and she had her own cake for smashing. You’ve never seen so many people at a cake smash before! She really got into it and had a pink, fancy bib. All of the children at the party really enjoyed the candy bar and cotton candy in champagne glasses. Grandpa and Grandma just adore this baby girl to pieces.
