first newborn session in new studio

Sharing a Kansas City family newborn session from my new studio! December has been busy! I am sure you have been busy, too. Lots of shopping to do, decorating and baking. In addition to those things, I am determined to keep this blog updated. I really am going to try, after all, I just started it. If you haven’t read, I have been building my portfolio this year and next year is already booking up with more real, live clients! I am so excited, I can hardly stand it. I have my photography studio set up in our basement in Blue Springs, just 20 minutes from Kansas City. I have the studio stocked with basic and simple backdrop and prop options. That is really all I need right now. It’s all about the baby, the child, and that family bond. I tend to focus on the subject and really like things to look clean in general. 2007 is going to be a great year, I can feel it already!

I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family last night. Remember, it is never too late to get your baby in for a newborn session! Kennedy was just so precious for her session. She even fell asleep in daddies arms for a little bit. She was a sleepy-tired girl after her long day! I was lucky to catch some great father/daughter moments at the end of the session. Wow. Glad I didn’t put my camera away.
