Madden in the Studio | Kansas City

Meet Madden! This little guy stole my heart from the moment that mom took the blanket off of the car seat. All of that beautiful, curly hair and those lips!  He has the cutest little dimple on his chin. He was a dream to photograph, I could have kept him at the studio for the entire afternoon. He is just a precious little thing! Sometimes newborn photography gets forgotten about once you have your little one and are so in love and overwhelmed at the same time!  I have had my Kansas City newborn photography studio for so long (six years, I can’t believe it), I can tell you that if you miss the two-week mark for having newborn portraits done, it is still ok!  Three-week babies are just as cute.  So, don’t hesitate to get them done at this time, either.  They are still little, they will usually still sleep and they will turn out just beautifully.

I would rather see a client come in with a month old baby, then wait until six months and skip the “tiny baby” stage. That is a stage that goes by so fast! Having said that, it is a good idea to go ahead and schedule your appointment at the studio when you are in the second or third trimester. This way it is planned and you are guaranteed a spot on the books within the first couple weeks after baby gets here.
