I am so glad that my high school friend called us to shoot a maternity session for her third baby. When did we grow up, this is so hard to believe! I can’t believe how many years it has been since I have seen her. We used to study together for classes in high school. She was a great study partner and one of those friends you hung out with and never got into trouble. My fellow bookwork friend, but much smarter. We went off to different colleges after high school and lost touch with each other. It’s so amazing to see your old friends become mothers. She has boys that are around the same age as ours.

The lighting was amazing this night, we began about 1 1/2 hours before sunset to take advantage of that golden hour lighting. The grass was so green and lush and we found some yellow wildflowers. A romantic skirt or dress is always a perfect idea for a maternity shoot. I also brought along the black maternity outfit that I use for almost every maternity session. Kristi was in great shape and was easy to pose! Loved her freckles!
