Liberty MO Family Photo Session Location Ideas
Searching for a photographer who has great location ideas for a family session in Liberty, MO? Combining family pictures with a family outing will make them even more memorable! I have done some research on areas in the Northland that will complement your session and am happy to come up your way for a Liberty MO family photography session.
1. Belvoir Winery – Gorgeous, stately, historic buildings with lots of history. If you are looking for a classic location in Liberty, this is the best. There are three historic buildings nestled in well-cared for greenery, an Admin Building, the Old Folks Building and the Old Hospital. They were all designed by different architects over twenty-three years, yet they meld well together. This is private property and we will need permission to stage a family session there. The owners are a very sweet family. There are lots of events to check out for a “mom and dad” date night!
2. Historic Downtown Liberty – For an old-town meets urban look without traveling to Kansas City, these buildings have tons of character and history. Lots of hidden byways and places to explore. Sunday evenings are best to avoid any crowds. Have a nice family dinner or frozen yogurt after your session!
3. Stocksdale Park– 901 S La Frenz Rd, Liberty, MO 64068 – Lots of trees and little hills, giving it a really pretty skyline and backdrop to your family portraits.
4. Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary- The sanctuary has 53 acres of beautiful land, adjoined by another 46 acres purchased by the Missouri Department of Conservation in 1978. Both areas are open to the public and feature lots of amenities, including a nature center to check out after your session.
