Meet Macie. She is actual sunshine! She is a super-sweet gal who played the clarinet at Grain Valley High School. She’s moving on to college now. What a natural beauty she is and was so easy to work with! Macie’s session features one of my most popular locations, downtown Lees Summit. Lots color and variety and a little edgy and fun.
Macie selected some low-key outfits that really went with any backdrop I put her up against. Those beachy waves! We even happened upon a wall of flowers. Such a fun time!
We shot this session in downtown Lee’s Summit, which is one of my favorite locations for senior session or a family session. There are plenty of areas that I love to use as backdrops, from neutral, to colorful and whimsical, such as the balloon mural pictures below. It’s fun to coordinate those “backdrops” with the outfits that seniors bring with them. This blue wall below just photographs so beautifully, it has tons of rich color and texture!
Your senior year is a major milestone. Senior portraits are a rite of passage. There are many photographers to choose from, and I want to help you make sure that you get images that you love. For the 2022 Senior Class, this year may may be different from what you planned. Proms, sports, and graduations may look a bit different, we just don’t know, but you can do this! But you’re tough! It is time to celebrate. Let’s keep the tradition of taking portraits to commemorate this time. Let’s capture the prom dress, your cap and gown, your jersey or your instrument. Whatever shows the real you. I want to help you document this time in your life with a real portrait session you will remember.
I am currently booking for the fall of 2021. Get in touch here.
