One Year Old Likes Firetrucks and Cupcakes Kansas City Photographer

This one-year-old digs fire trucks and really seems to enjoy cupcakes. He came in for his one-year smash cake session in pure Kansas City Royal’s spirit with his adorable little onesie. He was all smiles for me during his session. Mom and dad brought plenty of cupcakes to smash (and share-Thank you!). They even brought his fire truck with him and this thing was pretty sweet. His eyes just lit up when he sat down on it and pushed himself around the studio. Dad would put him back, I would snap a few shots and he would be off again like a lightning bolt. I definitely have to think fast for this age group. My handmade sock monkey hat made an appearance, it made his eyes looks so blue and what long lashes. Lashes are so often wasted on boys!

He demonstrated taking some steps for the camera. Toddlers always look so super-proud of themselves and I love capturing this in camera. I have the best gig as a photographer working with kids this adorable.

Little guy ate almost all of his 1 Year Cupcake, then he sat on it, hee hee!  I think he was wiped at the end of our session (a little yawn).  A few out-takes in here, I thought were funny!  I’ll have the rest for you soon!

One year smash cake sessions at the studio are the perfect way to remember your little’s one’s first birthday and capture some priceless faces as they dive into some sweets. Bring a cake or cupcakes!
